Add data points

To add a new data point to a workspace you should go to the ‘Add’ Page & click on ‘Data Point’. Then you will see

• Columns : This tab is only available if you select a data connector from the data tools breakdown.
• Preview : Here you can add a url link
• Queries : If there are any commonly-used queries related to this data point that may be of use to other members, you can add them to the queries tab.
• Lineage : If this datapoint relies on other already-created data points either upstream or downstream then add them to the lineage tab. The interconnected lineage map that shows how all data points are related can be seen on the explore page. It isn’t a requirement to add anything to the lineage tab, some data points may be stand-alone & hence don’t require any lineage links.
